The safe seems quite capable for protecting my documents and the few valuable or semi-valuable items I keep inside, from fire and or flood. Let's hope I never have to find out its true capabilities for those two mentioned events! I wish there was a better way to keep it secure from theft though!

Just what I needed. Be mindful that it is not waterproof, so I placed all my documents in waterproof pouches. It is a goog size as I can place it in my bigger fireproof safe - giving me double protection. It is a little heavy but needed to be so in order to give the required protection. Very happy with it.
