Since ink cartridge prices are immoral for all home printers in general; My opinion of this machine could change depending on how long the ink lasts . I like the speed of the copier function. The fax function is a waste in the 21st century, however. I like hpeprint a lot , it is fast too. Very pleased with my 6700 so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Terrible set-up

I was very disappointed with the set-up process. I had to hire a professional to get it working for me. He said that anyone would have had a problem if they didn't have some computer expertise. I would not buy this printer again. It is a shame because it does has some good features.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Being busy, HP Officejet 6700 set up "one day ago." so usage has been brief. Set up went fine, the difference between "one at a time" screen prompts, and having a full "to do list' in print, is that not knowing what was coming next, I did a lot of installation steps "out of order," based on knowledge of my former HP 3100 "all in one." But all turned out fine, and I'm quite pleased.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love my new HP6700 ! Print quality is great ! fax is great ! scan is great ! Home and personal use it is wonderful. Don't like that the set up to print time is noisy and lengthy ((1-2 minutes)) Easy to set up and use ! Fantiastic !

The HP Officejet 6700 H711n printer along with the XL ink cartridges are a wonderful value for the price. Features include fax, scan, copy, print on both sides of the paper, and e-print photos or text from smart phones or other devices. This unit is an improved model of my HP Officejet 6500 which I had been using until it got fried by a lightning strike thru the phone line.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy set-up and works great

My wife and I have HP laptops for both home and work. After passing on our previous Officejet 6500 to our son who left for college, we decided to get a new Officejet 6700. Wireless printing / scanning and copying all work perfect. We highly recommend this product.
