Magnet on/off feature does not work, but I love every other aspect of this case. If this would work then I would easily recommend this product to others.

I like the case overall but I have the same issue with the closing magnet. Not sure if I will return it at this point. I like the multiple position stand and rotating display but the on/off switch is hard to reach with the cover and this makes the failing magnetic closure more important
Pros: over all style, rotating display, multi position stand
Cons: magnetic closure

Falls out of Plastic cradle on New I Pad

I was real excited when I saw the advertised features for this case. The swivel and the stylish case seemed great. Unfortunately the plastic piece that cradles the I pad does not hold it in place. As a matter of fact it slips of easily which can damage your I pad. Hard to believe that Targus didn't complete quality control in the haste to get this out. Dissapointing.

I HAVE THE ORIGINAL I PAD AND THE TARGUS THZ02204US-51 CASE. A FAR SUPERIOR CASE. MY OLD PAD FIT SECURELY IN THE CASE AND THE STAND WAS SAFE. DO YOU HAVE THIS CASE FOR THE NEW IPAD. I ALSO LIKE THE EXTRA PADDING THIS CASE HAD. WITH MY NEW CASE MY IPAD FALLS OUT OF THE STAND VERY EASY WHICH IS MY BIGGEST CONCERN. THE STAND SLITS SHOULD BE DEEPER AND NOT A S WIDE. DON'T LIKE THE HOLE SINCE I LIKE TO KEEP NOTES UNDER I PAD BUT IT DOESNT WORK WITH THE HOLE.

Case does not work as advertised

I was really looking forward to having this case after having had the keyboard case combination for the iPad 2. however the magnet does not work to put the iPad to sleep, and the iPad will not stay securely within the plastic frame it pops out at the corners. The typing position does not work at all as the whole case just falls flat. This case has been very poorly designed and obviously rushed to market without being fully tested. Purchasing this case is a total waste of money. I have previously been very happy with Targus products but this design is totally useless and unacceptable. Do not waste your money by this case.
Pros: good looking case
Cons: does not work as advertised

This product has potential

This is a stylish and attractive cover that fit my new iPad 3 very well. Unfortunatley, I will be returning it because the magnetic on/off feature does not work as advertised. Too bad, I really liked this cover!
