Lack of red filter for under water housing.

I have your X3000 camera and its under water housing. The problem is that Sony does not make a red filter for the under water housing. As a scuba diver that likes to take photos and video it is very important to add red to your photos and videos. Due to the fact that red is the first color to be filtered out by water, leaving everything blue and green.
I would recommend this to a friend!

One-time use only

This case breaks very easily. Any undue force tends to snap the lens cover pin mount. The screw easily forces the plastic to fracture. Basically, all the issues are with making the various attachment points plastic and not metal.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is really good it bought is a few weeks ago and It's working really well. It's also comes with waterproof case and watch band for the little device which allow you to see what you are filming or taking photo.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Basic case for no mic usage

Case came with the camera when bought. Used it for 2-3m deep underwater, snowboarding and during the rainy days. Although I can not use the case anymore since the case started getting stuck from the opening mechanism after half year'ish. Eventually couldn't open it anymore, so I am using the camera only in safe environments.
Pros:
- Camera fits well inside and buttons work well with the hold switch.
- Worked for small dives and no water leaks

- Case might get stuck (new case costs 1/4 of the camera price)
- Mic quality is really bad with the case (without the case, it's decent)
