[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a limited size space for a refrigerator in our kitchen and was looking to replace our existing refrigerator with a side-by-side model that had ice in the door. My wife and I needed a refrigerator the exact size of this Amana product, and I can certainly say that we are both 100% satisfied with it. Plenty of space for the two if us, nice design, and it fits our needs and wants ideally. I would buy this exact refrigerator again with zero hesitation.
If I could change one thing, it would be in their specifications for this refrigerator. Although a lot of dimensions are listed for this model, the width of the refrigerator with the right side door opened ninety degrees is not specified. This was imperative information that we had to know before purchasing, since we had only thirty four inches of width total to make a refrigerator fit. Thankfully we found a store locally who sells this refrigerator so I could measure the store's display model with this door open to make sure it would fit.

The title says it all. The freezer would not go to zero and the refrigerator would be any where from 40 to 56.

It's design is sleek and modern with just the right contrast of simple curves and lines to enhance our beach house kitchen. The water and ice dispenser is beautifully designed flush into the front refrigerator panel and it is easy to use. This Amana refrigerator is extremely quiet with no load humming or distracting ice making noises. The water filter is easily accessible at the front bottom of the refrigerator, so replacement is no problem. The inside of the refrigerator is brightly lit with directional controls placed for easy temperature adjustments. The freezer accomplishes exactly its purpose, preserving frozen foods with no over-icing and ultimately maintaining the desired food tastes. The refrigerator's inside panels are structurally sound while shelving, trays, and bins are sturdy with a clean design, incorporating glass panels for visual enhancement of food placement and storage. The internal temperature is consistent and dependable to provide the confidence that food products will maintain freshness and taste. This refrigerator is light on its rollers which allows safe and easy movement for rear maintenance access. We are extremely satisfied with the Amana and it has become a visual attraction in the kitchen as well as a dependable appliance that we can count on to serve our daily needs. Have had about a month and am pleased. The freezer is a little smaller but the refrigerator is larger than the one we replaced and works out very well for us. The reviews I read before purchase said the ice dispenser throws ice and that's putting it mildly but I'm getting better at controlling it. The lighting is excellent and I am very pleased with the internal shelves and the ones in the door. Well worth the money.
