It has been 15 years since I purchased a new TV. In doing my research on flat panel TV's to replace the sets we had I found the features and picture quality of the Samsung models was by far the best. I have enjoyed the best viewing experience by far with the Samsung model I bought, I would recommend this brand to anyone.
Not a bad TV for the price I paid for it. Needed something for the living to get by until getting a bigger house, after half of the display went out on my last Samsung TV of 6 years.. The picture is good but I would recommend getting something with a true 120Mhz refresh ratio if you want a crisper HD. I also miss the Anynet+ feature my last TV had that this model does not have. It would switch the input on the TV automatically when my Samsung Blu-Ray was turned on.
I've had my TV since December and it's been working great. I haven't gotten cable and I live so far out that I can't receive television stations with any antennas, so my usage is internet based use. My TV is used with my computer and Xbox. I was surprised that to find that there was also a firm ware updated out there. This process was extremely easy and practically ran its self. This is my first LED TV, although I have had several LED computer monitors, and I'm not disappointed. I have run Xbox games, computer games, Hulu, VUDU, and a Blu-ray player, it has run great with them all. I would really like to see it have an additional HDMI port, but the composite video is a nice addition and a step up from some other TVs component video. The only quark that I've come across so far with this set is from time to time the focus seems to shift off. I have my computer also running a standard monitor and I don't see this focus shift on that device, but it is running through a DVI and not HDMI port. Overall... I'm very pleased with my purchase and with all the other device that I'm using with it, don't miss spending the extra money a smartTV.
This product is very TV friendly. Its very easy to browse using its smarthub. Has very good sound and picture quality. Goes well with the Samsung sound bar.
