I just had it delivered yesterday and immediately realized I hadn't paid enough attention to details. It looks great but the freezer is really small. And there is no light in the freezer. Not as many shelves in the refrigerator part as my last one. I knew it was one cubic foot smaller but just didn't think it would make that much difference. I'll get used to it but hard to adjust.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My Mothers Day New GE Refrigerator

I like the refrigerator except for the following:
1)The refrigerator is very noisy, runs constantly, and makes the strangest sounds
2) The shelves are too small
3) I could not receive an energy efficient rebate - the paperwork for this model was rejected

Cold, but sometimes too cold!

Love the look and effectiveness of our new fridge/freezer, but the freezer in particular gets extremely cold. My gluten-free bread slices keep sticking together and ice is forming in other frozen foods. I try turning the temperature up, but one knob controls both the fridge and the freezer. I'm scared if I turn the temperature up too much, it will backfire. But all in all, a great fridge/freezer!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great second fridge, Quiet, Spacious,Glass Shelves

Bought this a month ago as a second fridge in my garage. It's quiet and very spacious for an 18 cubic inch fridge.
The door holds gallon containers which is very useful.
The glass shelves are easy to clean and easy to adjust. They were the deciding factor when buying this fridge as other makes in this size had wire shelves.
Great fridge would recommend and would buy again.
Its my second GE fridge and will continue to buy GE products.

Great Second Fridge

I bought this refrigerator to replace my garage refrigerator and am very pleased. Not only does it take a lot less space than my old one, my electric bill has gone down.
