Well, the case looks nice...

...and as long as I only want use the stand sideways it works great. As soon as I try to rotate it the folio part detaches from the base case. As long as you don't rotate it, it works just fine. I would be terrified to drop it, though, since it keeps popping loose.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'm overall happy with my purchase.
Pros:
-I have 360 swivel on the stand
-I don't have press the sleep button every time I close the case
- Not to bulky or oversized for its features
Cons:
-the stand is little hard to use while turned vertically
- I wish there were more colors to choose from
(All three females in my house have the same color case because no one wanted a "boy color")

This is my second Symmentry because I loved my first one so much! The look and feel are rich. And the functionality has everything I wanted. It holds its position no matter which way I turn it. And it really ptoteacts my iPad.

I have had this for over a year now and it looks exactly the same as the first day I got it. I had gone through a case a year with my last iPad but this one is amazing. I've also dropped it more often than I care to admit and there's no damage to the iPad or the case. I have the gray one and the fabric might make it difficult to clean so this may not me the right case for kids or messy situations. The screen angle is fully adjustable and for my use it stays without slipping. I would whole heartedly recommend this.

I bought this case 3 months ago. It was the perfect case until I turn the case to view the screen and it popped out of its circle. The case still holds the iPad I just am afraid when I carry it that it will slip out of the portfolio part since it will not stay attached at the ring/swivel part.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this case a few weeks ago to replace my Logitech keyboard case after it broke. This case has been quite useful. I can change the viewing angle with ease. It's not as awkward as I thought when using the onscreen keyboard. It definitely adds an additional layer of protection over the Logitech case. Definitely worth the purchase.

I bought this a few weeks ago and so far I am very happy with the case. It is a little heavier than my other but it looks like it will provide better protection for my iPad. I did use it to view the vertical screen which I won't use that often, just think you need to be careful when turning it into that position.
