my other Norelco lasted 5 yrs. it was heavier,sturdier.it was good.my new one is a cheaper if not only a lighter model.i also forgot to buy one with a trimmer on it.

I bought the cheapest Norelco that I could find to use while my 8240XL is repaired. Unfortunately, I didn't notice that this model has no trimmer. However, it shaves better than the 8240 was, and I'm hoping that the 8240 will be like new when it is returned.

overall, this product is very satisfactory and I like the amount of cordless shaves that can be had for one charge.
Pros: quiet, easy to use, long run time on charge
Cons: requires going over area more than once, does not have a sideburns clipper

i use blood thinners so i am not allowed to shave with a blade - i had never used an electric razor before so i was pleasantly surprised at how much i liked it !gives a close shave.

Never noticed until I got the product home that there was no trimmer attachment. I never bought an electric razor which did not have a trimmer for side burns, etc., so I was a bit surprised.
Pros: gives smoothshave
Cons: no trimmer
