I have never used an electric razor - only regular razor blades. I switches as I am temporarily taking a blood thinner and wanted to be sure I did not cut myself. I must admit it is taking me a while to figure out how to use it to get the best shave - although I am pleasantly surprised at how good a shave I do get.
It is light weight and quiet yet it does get the job done -- I am impressed -- and the charge seems keep well over the 30 minutes that the item is only suppose to have.
Overall experience was great. Wr are seniors and this razor was perfect for us. Lightweight , Nice smooth shave ,feels good, glides acroos the face with ease. I plan to buy another soon and will definetly recommned this product. Senior delight!

I have had a few Norelco razors over the years and they continue to be the best alternative to blade shaving. You get the same excellent Flexing heads shave system on this inexpensive model as you would on some of the more costly razors. I was using a blade to shave for the last couple of years and I had forgot the ease of shaving, time saved, clean shave look, and less skin irritation than shaving with a blade. And in the long run you save money that you keep spending on blades, shave foam, afta shave. The Norelco razor should last a long time with simple care and cleaning.
Pros: great shave, shave anywhere, inexpensive model 6945xl, battery or corded, long lasting battery
This shaver is as simple as it gets. The lack of bells and whistles is a plus for me. Charge it up, shave away, and put it back in the cabinet. I bought it to replace essentially the same model that stopped charging after almost 11 years. If this one lasts half as long I'll have gotten more than my money's worth.
