For years I had used a Norelco Quadra 7 (7825XL) shaver and was very satisfied with it. It was about time to replace the cutting heads. Instead of doing that, I purchased a 6945 XL shaver. I didn't know anything could surpass the 7825. I was wrong. My new shaver is quieter and shaves closer. I am glad I purchased it.

Good product for the cost. Not real powerful, not real sharp, but efficient enough for sporadic use for quick touch ups, which is why I purchased it.
Pros: no cord, light., inexpensive.
Cons: not powerful.

This shaver is hard to beat

It fits very good in the palm of your hand. It gives a close shave without nicking the neck. Very comfortable. I am able to get many shaves on a single charge.
Pros: excellent, inexpensive
Cons: i can't think of any

Shaving with a rotary shaver is slow and does not give a really close shave.
Pros: needed when you have a pacemaker.
Cons: does not shve as close as a foil shaver

I don't fool with hair anymore. I just shave my whole head. Daily. The shave is not as close as some might like, but I've no need for a barber! (I haven' t been to a barber-shop since 1958, but my wife appreciates the razor too.)
