Excellent Player For the Money

Finally stepped into the 21st century and upgraded to our first Blu-Ray player. It was down to the LG and two other top brands, but the LG won out for its buit in wi-fi (which is excellent and easy to setup) and large amounts of apps (including a Verizon FiOS app to watch FiOS tv without a set top box!).
We've had the player for a month now and it works great with quick load times. We have not tried the 3D yet, as we're still saving for the LG Cinema 55-inch TV to go with this player. I only dinged it one star under features because with all the features, apps, etc. this thing REALLY needs a remote with QWERTY keyboard or an iOS or Android app that lets you use their keyboards (current apps do not) to make Netflix/Pandora, etc searches a lot easier.
Pros: Performance, Features/Settings, Quality

Only been a few weeks, but this is a nice Bluray player and gives great 3D movies. The upconvert is very good for my old DVD's as well.

Great bang for the buck

This blue ray player is a perfect match for my LG tv ... I love the way that the two sync up when I turn on the blue ray player ... no need to have to select the correct input on the tv. The built in apps and the availability of others is great.
