This one replaces a smaller, 20+ year old fridge. Pros: Looks nice. Inside water dispenser is handy. Nice to see produce and adjust humidity. Cons: Shelves do not seem sturdy enough to support heavy items (think turkey in roaster). Could not get filter installed initially. Hard to keep outside fingerprint-free. Awkward freezer spaces. Have to open both doors to get into produce bin.

We just had a new home built and went with all Jenn-air appliances. The refridgerator is by far a disappointment!! It reminds me of the first french door fridges, as you have to close the left side before the right. If you open the left side first, it pops the right side. To be honest, I can't wait for it to die so I can buy a different brand and I have had it in my kitchen for less than 6 months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this refrigerator to replace an older model, so we had to pick one that would fit in the space provided. Since this model was listed as "counter depth," we were concerned that it wouldn't hold as much as we previously had, but I am happy to say, I think it holds more! The food is easy to get at, and the water dispenser is in a place that is easier to get at and at the same time, doesn't take away from the interior space as much as we had before. It doesn't stick out into the kitchen as much, either, so the appearance is so much nicer. Honestly, it looks like it was custom designed for the cabinets on that wall! It runs quietly, too. Overall, we are very pleased. The design team for Jenn-Air must have spent some time creating models that make the most use of the capacity.
Pros: Quality Construction, Attractive Design

Paid little more for Jenn Air appliances when remodeling kitchen. Did not pay off. Services calls within first month for all appliances except dishwasher. Door for fridge broke within 1 month. Not very optimistic it will last in house with 3 children. Service company has been good.

Love this refrigerator. I lived w/o water & ice maker in my last fridge and this makes life so much better. I used to have a Brita Pitcher in my fridge for water, but now its directly from the fridge using a PUR filter. It's very sleek and love the ability to adjust the shelving for all types of food.
