Complete junk

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Went through one charge cycle followed all of the instructions for charging it is completely dead. What a waste of money

I received the Philips Norelco Beard Trimmer as a sample and I love it, it's a great beard trimmer, simple, priced right and just in time for keeping my winter growth looking right.
I like that it is rechargeable, it trims very well and cleans up easily. The range for the trimming adjustments are 1.5mm to 7mm with 3 fixed beard combs that give 9 lengths, so this will keep your beard looking well groomed. The blades cut really well and should stay that way as they are self sharpening.
This product is great! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good beard trimmer kit.

Great lightweight trimmer

I received this trimmer for free in exchange to write a review. After using this razor for a couple shaves I think it is a nice razor. Here's the pros and cons.
Pros:
Good quality - feels sturdy and built to last.
Smooth - no big vibrations when on and glides over the skin nicely. I didn't experience any snagging or skin cutting like some of the cheap razors do.
Lightweight and easy to maneuver - this trimmer is light in the hand and easy to get in tight or odd shaped spots like under the jaw.
Cordless and rechargeable - I like that you do t have to have it plugged in and the charge lasted me for a couple shaves.
Accessories - it came with blade grease, a brush, and a couple attachments to adjust the trim length.

It does not tell you when it's fully charged. It just has one green light to let you know it's plugged in but doesn't indicate the level of charge.
It would be an added bonus if this came with some kind of bag to keep all the pieces together when not in use or traveling. Right now everything just floating around in my shave bag and I have to dig around to find the ones that fit this trimmer.

Overall I like this trimmer. The pros outweigh the cons (which aren't really cons more like preferences). I would recommend this trimmer to someone looking for and easy to use, light duty, portable trimmer.
Pros: lightweight, smooth, portable
Cons: no full charge indicator

Decent product but not the best

I received this trimmer for free to test and review. After the initial charge, I tried it for the first time. I felt it lacked the power to muscle through trimming my beard. I trim my facial hair once every couple of weeks and have not had a problem n the past. It felt like it stuttered trying to trim my beard. I do like the different attachments that it came with to vary the length of the trim and the product was definitely more quiet than my previous trimmer; however if you sacrifice power for noise reduction, it is not a good trade off.
Pros: quiet
Cons: weak
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Decent wireless option for beard trimmer

I received this Norelco Beard Trimmer in the mail for free to review online. In general, I think the product works well.
Some positive features of this trimmer are that the blades cut very well, the grip is comfortable, and the trimming guards work well to give you a variety of length settings.
However, I was a little disappointed that there was no beard comb included, the trimmer itself feels a little lightweight, there are only 3 guards that are not adjustable, and the blade speed seems a little lacking.
Overall, I think this is a decent cordless option for a beard trimmer. Since the adjustable guard holds in place well, you can get a good variety of length options. Also, the blades cut well.
I would recommend this product for a regular person looking to always keep same beard length and that trims 1-2 times per week.
Pros: blades work well, adjustable guard works well, comfortable design
Cons: a little too lightweight, lacking power, no beard comb included

Great battery life, but limited versatility

I received this beard trimmer as a free sample in exchange for writing a review, but overall it seemed to work well. I`ve only used it a short time (roughly 30-45 minutes total), but it held a charge the entire time. It cuts decently. I actually tried it on my entire head since I shave that, too. It`s more tedious for that, but obviously it`s not the focus of the product.
I`ve had other trimmers that either heat up fairly quickly or lose a charge in <30 minutes of use. Overall, this one doesn`t have either of those two issues. Only issue it has is that it came with like 4 trimmer length adaptors. One is adjustable with like 5 settings and then a couple others that attach. If you want anything longer than about 1/2" in length, this probably won't be the best option for you.
Pros: great battery life, does not over heat, quiet motor
Cons: lack of trimmer adaptor lengths
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very effective basic trimmer

This Norelco Series 1200 beard trimmer is very good at what it does, just bearing in mind that it is indeed a basic beard trimmer. I received it as a free sample to review and it worked absolutely great for me, seeing as I really need just a basic beard trimmer.
The multiple clips/guards of various lengths attach to the trimmer and allow to trim the beard to different lengths. These were effective and I had no trouble using them or the trimmer as a whole. The trimmer really did not irritate my skin during use and the couple times there were pulling of hairs, it was probably me moving too quickly. Removing the guards allows direct access to the stainless steel metal blades for super close trimming around the mouth.
The trimmer was quiet, efficient and had no battery issues after several uses over a couple weeks, despite only charging it once at the start. Additionally, the rubber grip on the body of the is a great feature, as it helps keep a grip on the trimmer when holding it at various angles.
Cons: no bag to hold the trimmer and accessories
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Travel Companion!

I received a free sample of this product in exchange for testing it's features. I've used this product multiple times now and I've enjoyed it thus far. I love the fact that it has multiple guard sizes and the initial guard is adjustable with length designations on the side. The only small issue I wish were different, is the closeness of the blade itself for beard lining. If it were closer I could create a more definitive line around the beard and mustache.
