Quiet and cleans dishes, however doesn't dry dishes

Dishwasher is quiet and cleans the dishes but doesn't dry the dioshes and unless you use hot dry the dishes come out wet. Our old whirlpool dishwasher lasted 15 years and didn't have a problem with drying the dishes or with water left in the dishwasher itself. this maybe due to the energy efficiency. Give me the old style back.

The price was very competitive, it is energy efficient so costing less to use, now for the best parts...the door opens with a tug, no pesky latch! Inside is very roomy, adjustable for every possible type of item to wash and bonus...the silverware holder attaches to the door and frees up even more room for dishes on the bottom rack...is so nice and quiet! This dishwasher is made for a person that loves their kitchen and loves to cook!

Very Happy w/ Yet Another Whirlpool Dishwasher & Product

As a long-time happy Whirlpool owner, when my last dishwasher (a Whirlpool) started to get "long in the tooth" I began a search for my next. With a little more luck than usual, I found the Whirlpool online outlet and, after a while, this dishwasher. It took a while to get my favorite plumber out to install; but, now that it is installed. I am still happy.This model has a great assortment of features and I really like the "Tall Tub". It performs very well and is extremely quiet - much quieter than my last which was still, after about 15 years, still quieter then my previous "other brand" dishwasher.I am still getting used to the new layout and am not comfortable with it yet.Being a creature of habit, I had my way of filling the old and have not yet mastered the new.CONS: The accompanying users manual is extremely inadequate. In an effort to save paper, Whirlpool has omitted most of the feature details and has printed the manual in a very small type. They do make the full manual available online; however, it difficult to hold my computer while trying to compare the manual on the screen to the dishwasher. Also, the design of the current utensil rack makes it almost necessary to hang the it on the bottom roll-out rack; however. they have made to hooks so small that it is very difficult to get the utensil rack attached and to keep it so. At this point, I am considering zip-ties.

Price, Ease of cleaning filters, features

We've had this diswasher only for a month but are very happy with its performance. The only issue is the lack of plumbing hardware provided with this unit. By charing a little more to cover the cost of the plumbing connectors, the unit would be complete.

Cleans Well

Purchased this unit because of the functionality at this price point. It cleans everything well. There are many options to line up your dishes in the machine. I like the feature of hanging the untensil rack on the outside of the basket so I can fit more dishes in the basket.Not the quietest dishwasher out there but certainly much quieter then the 12 year old unit it replaced.

this product is the best dishwasher i have ever had. it is quite and does such a good cleaning job. its energy saving is great too. love the style of the product. i have recommeneded it to several of my friends. the price was real good with the instant rebate that you sent too.

Does not dry

The dishwasher matches the rest of our whirlpool products, however, it does not work as well. My dishes are clean enough, but i have to let everything air dry for half a day before i can put away my dishes. So even if i want to use the over night feature to have my dishes ready in the morning, i still have to wait in the morning with the door open for my dishes to dry.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
