sound level is average - can speak on the phone and still be in kitcen; wash times can be varied; silverware basket can be in different positions

I am really liking my new dishwasher. It is roomy, quiet, and has lots of features but not so many that it's overwhelming.

I"m very pleased with my new whirlpool dishwasher. It's so much more than my old whirlpool, which I had for 17 years. It has all the features of my old one plus many new ones that are water and energy efficient. What really put me over the top is the silverware basket is still in the door. Whirlpool is the only one that has this feature. One added bonus it's very very quiet.

New dishwasher

I recently remodeled my kitchen and bought the entire set of appliances that match. I love the look and all the many functions it provides. So far i am happy with everything except that the dishes never seem to come out dry. This seems to be a problem for most dishwashers.

Low quality product with lots of problems

After the first month the diswasher started to leak. Kitchen hardwood and a rug were wet. A service technicial told that the polymer frame/tube is a little bent and straightened it. The diswasher worked fine for 3 days and started to leak again. Heat cycling (during normal diswashing) caused the frame bent again, now from another corner. The same service technician came in and changed a door gasket and a door lock. After that I haven't seen leaks any more. Then the door became really creaky. I put a vegetable oil drop to both hinges and the creaky sound dissapeared but the door became really floppy. Like there was no spring force at all. The lowest quality diswasher I've seen so far.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to use

We replaced an existing Whirlpool when we remodeled our kitchen. We were so satisfied with out previous dishwasher we did not hesitate to buy the same brand. We are very satisfied with the new one"s performance. It is easy to load, very quiet, and the dishes are clean.
