It took me a long time to decide which dishwasher to buy, I wanted the silverware rack in the door, so there wasn't alot to chose from. I loved my old dishwasher so in the end I went with the same brand, Whirlpool and I choose the same model as I had before, the Gold Series. By the way my old dishwasher was still good after at least 8 yrs old but I needed a new color.I never saw the new disherwasher before I bought it, I bought it on line so I was a little worried. Well I LOVE IT, no need to worry.

Hard to get use to

I got it in black hard to see settings. Sound quility is great, still does not remove heavy baked on food tho.

This is a great machine with many options. One con is that it operates at a louder than expected level. I was surprised that it made so much noise for a newer machine. Otherwise no complaints.

The flatware basket has slots too small for many knives and forks, and it's located in a way which makes it very difficult to use.I tried adjusting the spring tension, but the door does not go down to a horizontal position, making it awkward to roll out the lower rack.There doesn't seem to be any way to turn off the drier heat.It does wash quite well with little detergent.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A fine machine at a very reasonable price

This is actually a very good dishwasher. Its quiet and efficient performance make it a pleasant addition to our kitchen. We have only used it a dozen times so far but we have been pleased with its performance.

TAKES TOO LONG TO FINISH WASHING. CAN'T BELIEVE TAKING THAT LONG TO WASH IS REALLY THAT ENERGY EFFICIENT. AN HOUR TO RUN IS TOO LONG.
