Functional diswasher -- cleans dishes well.

The dishwasher does what I need it to -- cleans the dishes. I found the instructions to be confusing. The layout is not as convenient as my previous machine. The sound level is fantastic -- very very quiet! However, seems to take a long time to complete a wash cycle. I think it will be great when I get used to using all it's features.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The drying cycle is very poor even, Trying to stabilise wine glasses is not easy and one has already broken.

After years of using another brand appliance, I purchased the Whirlpool dishwasher and immediately fell in love with the entire machine. It is everything I could hope for in a dishwasher (ease of loading, spacious interior and quiet.) The contents are sparkly clean after cycle is complete. I will try other appliances in the future made by Whirlpool and recommend them to my family and friends.

Nice dish washer, but silverware bucket needs upgrading

I'm happy with this purchase and appreciate my new dish washer. Whirlpool continues to maintain it's reputation as a provider of quality appliances. What I don't like about this model is the silverware bucket; It's hooked onto the door, so you cannot put silverware in unless you push the bottom rack in (inconvenient when hands are full of dishes/silverware). So, I pulled the bucket off the door and put it IN the bottom rack to rectify my dislike. However, the bucket is so strangely made, that silverware actually falls sideways into the bottom and nearly every wash load I have to fight to get something out of the silverware bucket that's stuck! Also, for some reason, this dishwasher smells badly inside very quickly (my old one never did!)
I would recommend this to a friend!

Purchased this diswasher to replace existing machine that was 20 years old. Noticed immediately how quiet this dishwasher is. Was curious if the 2 hour economy cycle would get the dishes clean, and I was surprised when it did. Was surprised when I needed to buy a special "valve" to connect the water line however. I was fortuniate that the salesperson knew of this issue and gave me the heads up. Other that making this part, part of the install kit that comes with the machine, I am completely satisfied. Thank you.

WOW Super Quiet

The first time we used this unit I didn't even know it had started. Other than a small woosh sound you couldn't hear anything. Sometimes the water will clink dishes together and that is louder than the sound of the water. I love the clean dishes light, when it's on I know I'm good to grab something out. I was worried about the silverware tray in the door. I read a few bad stories. Don't worry about it in this unit beacuse it gets the job done. Also for those of you with kids the function lock is awsome.

Whirlpool has always been a trusted brand, my new dishwasher is no exception. You can barely hear it running, compared to my old GE dishwasher, we had to turn the TV volumn way up!!!

Whirlpool Gold Series Dishwasher with EZ Adjustable Tines

I bought this dishwasher approximately one month ago and am pleased for the most part. The stainless steel looks great and doesn't show smudges for the most part and I like that. This washer is uber quiet and I mean uber. I have a large open floor plan and so there is no barrier to knock any sound down from the kitchen. This dishwasher doesn't even sound like it is on.... I installed it myself and had no problems doing so. I did have to buy an adapter which, in my opinion, should come with the washer, otherwise installed in less than one hour. My only complaint is that it's hard to put tall objects in the bottom rack as the design interferes with the top rotating wash dispenser from working correctly. Otherwise, I get nice clean dishes every time.
