Perfect Fit

I don't have a lot of space in my kitchen and this was one of a few side-by sides that would fit. I love it. There is so much room in the fridge and the freezer has a great design to offer maximum space. I read a lot of reviews and some say the ice maker doesn't work well and I say mine has been great. As far as Ice shooting out if you hold your glass under the ice shoot everything goes in. I love this product

Great refrigerator for small spaces

Have had this refrigerator for 6 months, and have no real complaints about it. I love the water and ice dispenser. The only problem I have is not any fault of the product. I would like more space, but cannot fit a taller refrigerator in the space I have. It is still more roomy than the one that it replaced, even though it is the same cubic feet due to the smaller ice maker, giving you more freezer space and an additional shelf. Overall, a great buy.

This is our first side by side and so far I like the features. Nice to grab a quick glass of water w/ice. Plenty for room on the doors. Easy to clean

Great Fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked everything about it except the spacing between the top and bottom of the snack tray. My old GE the snack tray sat right above the criper bend and the newer model does not. It took away from having one big shelf on the bottom and gave me two smaller shelves, this is a bad design for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For those of us who only have limited space, it is the best refrigerator you can find. In 2007, I purchased a Profile that was about the same size and we had several problems with it. It is now in the garage for extra storage and this model is in the kitchen. It is very spacious and quiet except for when dropping completed ice cubes. It is certainly a value for the money as compare to the Profile one that is very similar and costs several hundred more. I have had it for about 6 weeks and have not had a problem. GE has always been my favorite appliance.

GE Side By Side

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this fridge because we needed something that would fit under our cabinaets. It had the greatest capacity for those that we looked at. The space is great on the fridge side but it would be better to have baskets vs. shelves on the freezer side. It also makes a clunking sound when making ice.

Not a bad fridge/freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I purchased this refrigerator through our home builder so we didn't really have a choice on the appliances except for whether we wanted black or stainless. We have the stainless product. This is our first side by side refrigerator. One one hand i like the side by side so that I do not have to bend down so far to get to the bottom shelf. On the other, i feel like it is actually smaller than a conventional fridge/freezer. Also, although stainless looks great, every single finger print and smudge shows up on it, so I find myself wiping it down daily. Other than that, GE is a great product, and if I had choices, I would have picked a GE product anyway.
