Beware of Ice Maker

Brand new refrigerator installed and once water line installed, waited 48-72 hours
for it to start making ice. Called customer service and they stated that common for
this model to have issues with the 1st Pur Filter to clog so they fed ex'd out new filter. Still does not make ice and customer service sending out appliance company
to fix. Will let you know what happens. Brand new ref and have problems already.
Otherwise, everything else is fine and looks nice.

Although this is the exact same size as a white GE refrigerator that I replaced, it seems smaller. The freezer size is especially disappointing. In my previous model the shelves in the freezer slid out unlike these which makes it the food more inaccessible and makes it seem smaller. The storage space on the door is nice. One other feature that is disappointing is the ice maker. On cubes it spits out pieces of chipped ice that fly all over the floor. I no longer use this feature which is one thing I really wanted. If I had it to do over again I would look for a larger refrigerator without an ice maker. I am not happy at all with this purchase. The one good thing is that is does look nice with my other appliances.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
