Nothing but problems

We researched several brands and reviews and thought we picked the best printer. Sad to say we've had nothing but problems--Epson replaced it once and the new one will print only in b/w. Too much time wasted!

WP-4020 Works Great

This is the 2nd WP-4020 I've bought with-in the last 6 mo. and have had no problems with them. Easy to set up. Great color prints as well as B&W. I like the large ink carts and they are easy to replace. No problems to report yet. I use a MAC OS X 10.8.x.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not happy with Epson WorkForce

I bought this printer sight unseen because I was looking for something with cheaper ink and needed one with a duplexer. I did get that. However, the unit is extremely large and does not fit on my printer shelf. It does not look at all suitable for a home office setting. After turning it on it takes a long time to be ready to print. The front paper feed is flimsy and awkward to get to and the rear paper feed is hard to use unless you have a lot of space around the printer. All in all, I would not buy another one.

Worked great at first

Bought this printer less than six months ago and it was working great until a couple of months ago. Now it won't pick up the paper from the bottom tray. Printing from the top loader is slooooooow. Wouldn't recommend and won't buy again. I'm not even going to bother with the warranty; just going to replace it.

WP4020 ----- just bought it from Epson -- No Ink

just bought the printer from Epson. there is no ink in the box to even try the printer !!!!!!! I have no idea if the printer works. wouldn't you think they would make sure there was ink with the machine.

I have installed my new printer in late December 2011. The installation was easy. I was somewhat amazed with how big the product was. I have used several features including two sided printing and photo printing. They work fine and print quality is very good and very, fast. The speed comparison to a laser printer is correct. Cons: we sometimes print full color labels on adhesive paper. I note that the black sometimes bleeds into some colors like yellows and oranges. I will tweak the settings and see if it corrects the problem. Apart from that issue, I have not had any other problems. O have not used the WiFi nor have I given the printer an IP address. It is connected directly to my computer via a USB and then shared with 4 other computers on our network.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent printer. Incredibly simple to setup, excellent priting and super fast. Great for any student or home based business that requires a lot of printing to be done. Only down side (and is not really a down side) is that it is a little bulky.
