Great Printer Value WP-4020 Inkjet Printer

I have had this printer for a few weeks now and it is working great. I love the duplex capability. I didn't want an all in one since I have the fax and scan equipment already. It was hard to find a reasonably priced stand alone color ink jet printer. This one fit the bill.
I am very satisfied and it was easy to set up on my Windows 7 64bit laptop.

Great quality, manages card stock swiftly, bumper sticker, self adhesive stock. Uses only 4 color inks. It is not intended for fine art photography so 4 colors is perfect. Competes with big offset presses in the quality. Uses permanent pigmented inks. That is a must when printing for outside customers. Perfect register every time Quite fast for an inkjet printer. Inexpensive

Epson Workforce Pro 4020

Had this printer for 7 months until the cyan nozzle clogged. After 60 nozzle cleanings and 2 cartridges it still would not unclog. Took it back for a new one.
It's a decent printer but the ink cartridges you buy need to have more ink supplied in them.

Hardly used yet, so only four stars.
The setup was straightforward and easy.
The printing is fast and looks great. All features work as advertised. A great value for a small office if it holds up as well as my previous Epson printers.
I particularly like the fast two-sided printing and the rear paper feeder which allows me to print letters and envelopes without changing paper.

I hate this machine

This printer is very mixed. The print results are excellent. The machine is bulky, flimsy, and frustrating. I spend way too much time dealing with a message than the paper is loaded wrongly. When it prints photos the quality is excellent but most of the time it won't pick up photo paper. I really actively dislike this printer and I usually don't 'dislike' inanimate objects.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Epson WorkForce Pro WP-4020 Inkjet Printer is very good deal. For modest price you can get very nice, almost professional, color printer. Quality of printing is very high, speed is good. Ink cartridge has a great capacity and acceptable price.
I would like specially to emphasize quality and professionalism of Epson technical support.

I have purchased many "Disposable" Inkjet Printers that make elaborate promises over the years of computing at home. The Epson Workforce Pro WP-4020 Printer is the first real printer I have purchased. It meets and/or exceeds all advertising I had read. I would recommend it for all home/office environments that must depend upon the printer.

I have several internet stores, and my business is web based. We are a home based business, and quite busy. I have printed all my leaflets and brochures from the beginning. I purchased this printer a few months ago. Over the past 15 years I have had many printers. This is the best most economical, and easy to use printer I have had, bar none. The large size cartridges and duplex function are now a must have for me.
