Great features for the price.

Wow, setup was a breeze. It walks you right through the setup process and you will be watching TV in minutes. Shocked at how much the up scaling changes the picture quality detail without having 4K service. I chose this model over the S models because of price difference and the 120 hz refresh rate vs. the 60Hz on the S models and I am not disappointed. Great 4K TV for the price and features!

I received this UHDTV today so this review includes no information on reliability. This TV was hooked up and working within 5 minutes. The seller, Best Buy, did basic delivery, hook up and the time involved in setup and one input connection was very short. I completed the more detailed setup including attaching to the network, setting picture parameters, attaching my home theater sound system, and setting up the apps and search functions. All were extremely intuitive and all together took maybe 15 minutes. I tested every setting, and I admit that took some time (playing with it).
I have repeatedly read reviews that say this TV is not 3D capable. That is simply incorrect. The TV definitely has 3D along with multiple 3D settings and enhancements including the ability to covert regular 2D images and programming to 3D and the ability to convert 3D content to 2D for those who have a 3D source like a 3D Blu-ray but don't like 3D. I suspect the problems some people have had with 3D are the result of not following the process of pairing the glasses with the TV via blue tooth, or not properly charging the rechargeable glasses prior to first use.
The picture is great so far, and the screen arrived with no dead pixels. I watched a basketball game tonight using the sports setting. I never saw any pixilation or other artifacts - the motion in all aspects was smooth and clean. If you don't like the picture the TV has many options for preset changes, and a great number of ways to adjust to custom settings. If you can't find one you like, you probably haven't tried all of the adjustments or are very difficult to please. My wife likes the default/normal settings the best so that was easy. If this TV is reliable and last the 15 years that I expect, it will have been one fantastic buy based on the current market. I highly recommend this TV.

...the one connect mini box started randomly losing HDMI input signals on the second day I owned it (2 weeks ago). Today it's not working at all. I have to say, if this happens, you've no way to get any HD input into the TV (outside of composite cables which I don't own). IMHO, Samsung should have at least one HDMI input on the TV itself. I contacted Samsung- customer service was great and a replacement one connect box will be shipped. Bad timing though- won't be here for the Super Bowl! Majorly bummed.
The picture is fantastic for the price and features on the TV are really good. Easy to setup and adjust the settings. The wireless smart hub works great (Netflix, YouTube, and the web browser are working flawlessly). The sound is average for a TV this thin so am using a sound bar. Overall, I'm really happy with the TV and the price was spectacular. Sadly and reading other reviews on the internet, I'm not the only one that's been bitten by a faulty one connect mini box. I think it;s a good idea but not well implemented for a possible workaround solution if it fails.

Cons: connectivity is limited and unreliable

Great Value for the Price

Performs well for most shows and movies. Sharp picture! For a few shows, however, the motion/refresh rate of 240/120 is not sufficient. Overall, it is a fine set with lots of features at a bargain price until 2/6/2016.

I struggled with a 60 inch Vizio and got fed up and returned it and bought this model.
What a pleasant surprise. The picture , colors , style are wonderful. Not to mention the price point is great for a Samsung.
If you can find one of these, I definitely recommend it.

Love this TV - it can do so much and really easy to figure out! The picture is beautiful, crystal clear and colors are vivid. Sound is great, easy to adjust to different settings. We feel like we are at the event. The remote is easy to navigate from TV, Cable, Internet, gmail, you tube, etc....and it remembers your history so its easier the next time. I wish we had this TV in every room.!

This TV is awesome. Has all the features I have been looking for the price range I had wanted to pay. It has a very good picture especially when watching Netflix and 4k is awesome. I don't know if it had had Pure Color Technology if my eyes could tell the difference. I'm happy overall and it's still a Samsung. I was looking for this TV during Black Friday and I finally got it. Thanks, Samsung.
