Kinda disappointed

Don't get me wrong overall I do love the phone, these are just some problems I have run into
Cannot use music or sound files, which I have purchased, downloaded, or recorded myself, as ringtones? I honestly would not have purchased the phone if I realized this. It seems pretty simple to me almost every phone I’ve ever had can do it why not this one?
No File organization? Once a file is stored on the phone I can’t change where it is stored or rename it. I would really like to be able to rename my photos and organize them into different folders but that is not possible.
Cannot send or receive audio or video files? I can receive messages that have audio and video attachments but I cannot save the audio or video file to my phone. I also cannot attach a video or sound file to and outgoing message, only pictures. This is simply unacceptable; every other smart phone on the market does this without a problem.
Birthday reminders? The contact list does store birthdays, can it just add them to the calendar? Windows live does this, but the phone calendar feature only syncs my primary calendar, not the birthday calendar so it still doesn’t appear in my phone’s calendar. I’ve been told I should just enter them manually, but then they will appear twice in my Windows live calendar. Plus it seems ridiculous to manually enter the information when it’s already there.
Only syncs primary calendar? It would be really nice if it synced all of my Windows Live calendars, Primary, Birthdays, US Holidays, and calendars shared by my friends. This would also solve my birthday reminder issue as Windows live does sync my contacts and add their birthdays to my birthday calendar automatically.
Blocked Calls? Not really a big deal for me, but some of my old phones had a feature where I could block calls from certain numbers and they would go straight to voicemail. I really liked this and miss it now that I don’t have it.
E-mail from text? I can send a text Message to an E-mail address if I enter the email address manually but if I select someone from my contact list, it will not even show their E-mail address as an option to send a text to, even if it is stored on their contact info.
Drag and drop file transfer? Several of my old phones registered as a mass storage device when plugged into my PC. All I had to do to put picture or sound files on my phone, or move them from phone to my PC, was drag and drop. No other program required. Now I cannot do this without using the Zune program? This is the exact reason I will never own an ipod I should not have to use a special program just to copy files.
Cannot exchange file through Bluetooth? I’ve been able to send and receive files through a Bluetooth connection on every Bluetooth enabled phone I’ve had, except this one.

This phone is running Windows 7.5. I've had it since April and the manufactured quality is very good. The touch screen is sensative but not overly so. Button items are logically placed. If Windows would add the ability to send and retrive files and music using there windows media player and windows explorer instead of Zune it would really be great.
Pros: Style/Design, Quality

The best phone Ive ever owned!!!

This is the best phone i have ever owned. ive left it for the iphones, lastly the iphone 5, but ill never do it again unless lg comes out with a newer model of basiclly the same phone. Mine has been updated to the windows 7.8, but i was happy with just the windows 7. the full slide out keyboard is the best. the only downside is the apps are way behind, and phone cases are slim to none. LG, please please bring out a newer lg quantum c900!!!

Comprehensive hardware/software integration bring performance and capabilities unmatched in the same pricepoint (now that the term 'obsolete' applies to it - already - and the fact that a 5MP camera is insufficient for most). I have nothing to complain about, and very little to 'wish' were better implemented now that WP v7.5 has rolled out.
The simplicity of Cloud Storage actually brought me in, where I used to scoff at the concept. Now it's a browser side-by-side with a Windows Explorer .. Drag-and-Drop to the Server and 'invite' if I need to share it with someone (say, the shopping list).
Frankly, the software built for controlling synchronization of folders is limited and complex, though.

I got this phone in December and i love it! I thought it would be very confusing at first but the first day i had every thing figured out. After about two months the screen cracked, but any touch screen phone can have that happen. About two monthes later i was walking and accidentally dropped my phone in a little creek, i got it out right away went home and put it in rice and within less than 24 hours it worked just as it had beofore, i was shocked that with the screen cracked it still worked! ( oh and you can always get the glass that cracked replaced). The cameras not the best. The phones a little heavy but overall i love it! idont find it confusing at all! Everybody I know loves and wants this phone. I would galdely recommend this phone. Oh and i almost fprgpt the phones is super fast.

This is simply the best phone out there with a physical QWERTY keyboard as far as smartphones go. If you're tired of cramped touchscreens or bad keyboards laid out strangely, then look no further. You will simply not find anything better.
To put it mildly, Windows Phone 7 is an amazing OS. Everything is incredibly streamline and clean cut, making everything super easy to use. If you're a PC guy who likes a bit of customization, then you're in luck. You have the freedom to change the displays, the home screen, and many more settings throughout the phone.
Get this phone.

I agree with the others that left a review. Its weight gives me the feeling of a durable strong phone, very tough. I've dropped it a couple of times, not even a scratch. Oh and if not for the hard keys I think It would next to impossible to enter a credit card number without making mistakes as I did with my previous phone.

I loved the phone when it worked. The phone would lock up and I would have to take the battery out and put it back in to get the phone to turn back on. Sometimes that would be hours before it would cut back on. I haven't seen other reviews on this site about this problem, but I have seen on several other sites with cellphone reviews that several people have had this problem with this phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
