Pro's: Large high quality screen Decent amount of aps avail. Good looks Easy to use
Con's: Battery hog. The large screen takes power. I realize that. Still, the only way to make it through an 8 hour workday is by shutting down all uneeded features and very minimal usage after that. Use it for checking the occasional e-mail(s), playing a game or two, and you can drop that number by half. No seperate battery door. This can tie in with the above con if you plan to use your Note above a moderate amount, as you WILL need to change batteries sometime during the day.
I have used the Note for 7 months and it has worked great and all the features it has. love the s-pen been able to keep notes I need to do through out the day. only flaw was battery life was bad. but overall I would recommend this phone for someone in need of a big screen and able to wright with a pen.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: poor battery
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Phone

Best phone I have ever owned by far. The big screen is definitely helpful and does nothing to hurt the phone.
I recently purchased the older Galaxy Note because of the capabilities it would allow me while working mobile. While I have not kicked aside my iPad for sole reliance on the Samsung brand, I was looking forward to the network update that was supposed to give this device the same feature as the hailed Galaxy Note 10.1 with the split screen working capabilities. I have yet to receive this update nor can I find it on the website. My other main concern as an economic developer is that most of the mobile tools I use for my daily functions are sadly unavailable on the android market suggesting to me that this platform is more about play and less about function, further why I quickly returned my Galaxy Note 10.1 for the iPad. I do remain optimistic that this device will change my terrorized view of Samsung products and enlighten me with a new found sense of awe. I am impressed by the docking options for the Samsung lines as well as the written capability with the on-board stylus and features...if only I could get the software update to occur I'd probably flip for the original Note.
Pros: Durable, capabilities, interphase
Cons: update lag, lack of appropriate apps for professional dev
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best Phone I've Ever Owned

Best phone I've ever owned. It fills the gap between tablet and smartphone. Everything is so much easier to see on the large screen. Games, video, and the internet all look so much better and are easier to read with all the extra screen real estate. The camera is top notch and has pretty much replaced my digital camera. If you're into flashing custom roms and stuff, This is a great device as there are a wealth of custom roms available on the net. If you have small pockets, you'll struggle to fit it in your pocket, although not an issue for me as I wear cargo pants most of the time. Cases are kind of hard to come by, you almost have to order online, especially since the Note 2 came out. Now that I've had the Note, I'll never be able to go back to a smaller phone. I'll be getting the Note 3 next year when it comes out for sure!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, great camera, easy to use, high def display, s pen functionality
