1. Battery dies quickly. It only run about 2-3 hours tops.
2. There has been no update on the android version Gingerbread.

Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: uses to much battery, battery needs more than 2500 mah

Pro: Great phone, love the stylus, it's been a great tool so far. The large screen is great during calls, as it shields my ear from wind and whatnot, so I can hear. It's large enough for my big hands (I'm 6'2", or 186 cm), and the quality is superb.
*Cons: The Stylus does not work under left hand setting. You can go and set it to left hand, it is still set to right hand mode and does not revert. There is a FM receiver, that was disabled before the phones were shipped for whatever reason, it would be nice if it was not.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: no left hand stylus setting and yes i've tried, no fm receiver what's up with that?

The Note 1 was for me my first experience on what a phone companion should be. There's nothing in the market that surpass this phone, and the value always remain, for later sale.
If you never own one of this, you are missing a lot.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color

I LOVE my phone; i get compliments on it daily! it does EVERYTHING! I want the Note II now but ATT wont let me upgrade. I wish I could get the S beam and buddy photo on the 1st note! i LOVE Samsung products, great value for the BEST in electronics!

I purchased this phone in mid July, but did not start using it much until August. It has had several significant technical issues. I have been shipped a replacement phone, as this one is still under warranty.
I pray this one will not be defective like the 1st Samsung Galaxy Note was.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Finally a phone I can use!

I knew I would have to go to a smartphone eventually, but was loathing the small screens. Reading them was difficult and zooming to read all the time was annoying. Finally I have found my love. This phone is great for those of us who are getting less able to focus on tiny things. The screen display is very crisp, and colors are vivid. The learning curve for me was a bit longer as I have not had a smartphone before, but not insurmountable. I truly love the combination of features on this phone from the voice clarity to the internet capabilities. Thank you Samsung
