For months, I have been eyeing the Galaxy Note before finally taking the plunge to purchase. It has been my BEST mobile purchase to-date. Never have I spent so much quality time with my smartphone!
Since I am a writer, the large screen played into my decision to purchase. I appreciate the options to use the stylus or my fingers interchangeably.
Considering one of the Galaxy products? Get the Note if you want the larger screen and processing power. Get the S III if you want a smaller screen, but a speedy user interface.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Im a college student and this phone has come in hand when i leave my notes at home... I use the app on my phone to find my notes highlight cross out and add additional notes.... The screen size is amazing and the HD qualities arent too bad either..... I would recommend this phone to any and everyone !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If the note had the new version of Android pre installed it would be a excellent phone.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Too big, comes with old version of android 2.3. not the new

The Samsung Galaxy note is both fun and practical. With the over all hardware and design put into this product there is no surprise that it has reached such popularity. The only issue I have with it are that there is not enough update support on this device. With the specs that this thing is boasting it could easily beat almost all other dual core smart phones on the market if it got an ICS update, but the android 2.3.6 gingerbread OS leaves much to be desired. If this device were to get an update to that sweet sweet android 4.0 OS, there would be only one phone superior to this one. That phone being the Samsung Galaxy S iii. Don't be fooled by my words though, even with the older OS this phone and I love each other very much. If you like reading e-books, browsing the web on the go, playing games on a massive and gorgeous screen, and have a need for practical functions like S Memo look no further. This is definitely the phone for you.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, btw it's really really big, amazing performence
Cons: os is not very pretty
