Just received and installed the AWR-1600. It's great looking, temps work great and it's quiet as heck....a very good thing. BUT, the shelves are cheap looking and the distance between them is too small....the only bottles that will fit are cab bottles. Anything thicker, like chardonnay or pinot bottles require removing a whole shelf because the shelves are not adjustable. Removing a whole shelf diminishes capacity unless you're storing a whole case of one wine. And, to tell you the truth I don't know if those shelves would hold a whole case. Should be a easy fix. Not sure why it hasn't been done but would not recommend this cooler until it is. Then it would be a "10" or in this case a "5" in my book.
I just received my Wine Cooler and was excited to fill it with my collection. I was sad to learn that i cannot put any Pinots or Chardonnay size bottle without removing shelves. I think this product should have been just a few inches taller to allow for more space. I thought about returning it, but will wait and see what happens. I would recommend this cooler for anyone that has only Cab size bottles.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cliff notes version: DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! Horrible customer service and they don't stand behind their product or their promises. Extended version: Purchased the dual zone 160 bottle NewAir wine fridge through Wayfair after having such a great experience with the 46 or 48 bottle NewAir dual zone wine fridge, however, it just wasn't large enough for our collection. Let's just say, this fridge most definitely DID NOT meet our expectations. First and foremost, with this dual zone wine fridge, our wine DID NOT FIT! Yes, you read that right, our wine bottles did not fit in the racks without getting stuck and/or damaged. If you tried opening one rack, ALL the racks came with it. What kind of bottles did we have? EVERYTHING!! Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon blanc, Chardonnay, champagne, Pinot noir, Cabernet, Zinfandel, Barbara, Sangiovese, Merlot, port, etc. So my fiancé and I reached out to Wayfair to try and return the fridge as obviously this fridge was not going to work for our collection. They were unable to help us so they put us in touch with NewAir directly. Let me just preface this with I will NEVER do business or purchase another NewAir product EVER again as I have never dealt with such AWFUL customer service in my life!! After what started off as a pleasant experience with NewAir, my opinion was quickly changed. I was instructed by a NewAir customer service representative to cut the cord of my wine fridge and dispose of the fridge and then NewAir would send me a refund check. If you check on their website they say they stand behind their products and have a hassle free return policy. ***DISCLAIMER, they do not care if you've not purchased THEIR fridge directly from them, so I've learned*** So, I did just as instructed by Anfernee, the customer service representative, I cut the cord and disposed of the $1800 wine fridge at the local dump. Well then I received an email a week letter when I followed up, after I hadn't heard anything from NewAir, that they would no longer be refunding me, even though I just disposed of this $1800 wine fridge. As you can imagine, that was not going to fly as I had email conversations of their intent to refund me for the wine fridge once I disposed of it, and I was not backing down. I literally had to call almost daily for 6 weeks to follow up on the refund check I was promised but was constantly told "they are working on it and awaiting approval" and it wasn't until my fiancé posted a negative review and I threatened to write to the Better Business Bureau about what had happened that I FINALLY was able to speak to a supervisor after asking multiple times over the 6 weeks to speak with a supervisor. Fast forward 2 months, I just received a check last week, but for significantly less than I purchased the fridge for, yet I'm still paying on this fridge I no longer possess as I did just as instructed by the NewAir customer service team, and now the supervisor, Latoya, with whom I was working with on this issue, is no longer answering or returning my calls. If I can suggest anything to anyone, ***DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!***

We purchased after serious research, but had a slight problem after delivery. We contacted customer service, and Ashley was beyond helpful and gracious. She was attentive to our situation, and our cooler was promptly replaced. We could not be happier with our wine cooler.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What a great big wine cellar

This wine cooler has exceeded my expectations. We decided to set the wine cooler up in our kitchen and i am so glad we did, as the gold lighting really creates a beautiful atmosphere. We have purchased wine coolers in the past. We decided that it was probable time to invest in something a little bigger, which is when we came across this large wine cooler made by Newair. It has a solid construction and can keep the temperature in both zones to suit my personal preference. We also love that it does offer dual zone cooling, so we no longer have to store both our reds and whites at the same temperature. The digital controls are also simple to operate. Another great feature that this cooler offers is that the shelves are super easy to pull out, no matter how many bottles its holding. None of our other wine coolers which have been much smaller, ever offered this. It also offers us the opportunity to store larger than normal wine bottles or even Champagne. I did have concerns about the noise as i was going to be placing it in my kitchen, however it is practically silent. We have our cooler a few weeks now and i finally have it filled with 160 bottles. It does come with a locking featuring which we don't use, but for anyone who invests in their wine collection i do believe that this is a great feature. I am so happy we decided to purchase this wine cooler, as i am more than pleased.

Bought this cooler 17 months ago. It looks really nice and works fine but already had two situations where the set temperature for white wine is not reached. I had to replace the temperature sensor twice. Elizabeth at Customer Service was super helpful and friendly.
