Touch Screen Stopped Working

I loved this phone. I fell in love with it the moment I got it, but then about 4 moths later, THE TOUCH SCREEN STOPPED WORKING! I cannot do anything with this phone anymore! I cannot get to my contacts, scroll down my favorites, text people and most importantly, I CAN'T UNLOCK THE PHONE WITHOUT OPENING THE KEYBOARD!!! I looked up what it was doing and about 10 other people said that their screen stopped working too.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Did not meet expectations, touch screen stopped

If I could merge my Samsung Brightside with my Samsung Reality, I'd be in heaven!!! Customization is absolutely lacking in this phone, which was a huge disappointment. I find I'm getting used to not being able to choose my own background, though. Call clarity seems to be great (altho maybe my old phone was just terrible). Ringtones that come with it are great, kinda suprised me. Nothing to say so far about the camera/camcorder. HTML browser stinks... Opera Mini is what I had on my Reality and it was fine, seems a bit jerky on the Brightside. Just overall I was kinda disappointed, and I've owned Samsung cell phones for 8 years now. Cmon Samsung, we expect better of you!!!

Very Disappointed in SAMSUNG

This Phone is the worst phone ever!!! The phone connects to the internet without you knowing. It freezes. I had this phone for two days and returned it to the store. Just a Complete Problem. I have had several Samsung phone and this one,must have been made with their eyes closed.

LOVE PHONE BUT WAY TO SENSITIVE

FEEL THIS PHONE HAS MANY EXCITING FEATURES FOR A BASIC PHONE. BUT THE BIGGEST COMPLAINT I HAVE IS THE PHONE APPS ARE WAY TOOOOOOOOOO SENSITIVE & DOES THINGS THAT I DID NOT EVEN TOUCH ON THE PHONE. IT ESPECIALLY CALLS VOICE MAIL WITHOUT TOUCHING THAT APP. IT SEEMS THAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. I UNFORTUNATELY HAVE TO RETURN THE PHONE. SAMSUNG, PLEASE ADD A SETTING THAT WOULD ADJUST THE SENSITIVITY.

Terrible phone, do not purchase for your own sake

I have had this phone for about 8 months already and I am fed up. I consider this a severe downgrade from my previous phone in terms of the quality and the functions it offers. Why?
1. This phone will RING ON MAX VOLUME every 5 minutes telling me and the rest of the world that it has low battery... EVEN WHEN IT'S SET ON SILENT. You'd expect Samsung can make a decent phone by now that stays silent when it's put on silent.
2. You can't customize the home screen and barely any other settings. You're basically stuck with the features that has been pre-set for you.
3. This phone will magically unlock itself in your pocket or in your bag and find a way to call every contact on your list.
4. While I'm in the middle of a call, my cheek can EASILY end the call with the softest touch. I can say that 25% of my calls are ended because my cheek accidentally hit the end call button on the touch screen.
5. The phone randomly restarts itself as it pleases.

Samsung Brightside is not a good phone

I have never hated a phone as much as I hate the Samsung Brightside. It is very difficult to use. You have to click too many times just to get to an area. Loading music is one of the hardest things I have ever had to deal with. I would not recommend this phone to anyone. I am actually returning it for a different phone, and am considering never buying a Samsung phone again.
