This phone texts terribly, so sensitive that it shuts off all the time. Cant hold the phone or it will go to voice mail continuously....Had the reality which I loved, it broke after time and they sent me this one. Not happy at all with it.
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice Basic Phone

People need to remember that the Brightside is a "Basic" phone, not a "Smart phone". If you want just the basics, this is a good phone. I too wish it had more apps available, too bad. 4 stars because it is just a "basic" phone. It's all I can afford. Nice!
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: more applications
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worst phone I have ever owned

I got this phone March 13, 2012. It took a while to get used to the numbers being on the touch screen. The biggest issue I have is this phone does strange things. If it is set on a flat surface and nobody is touching it, it will either dial a number in my contacts or go to the web browser.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, does strange things without being touched
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Worst Phone I've Ever Had
on January 2, 2015

This is by far the worst phone I've ever had the misfortune of having to use. It was an UPGRADE from my last phone, and yet it did more of what I wanted than this... Technological NIGHTMARE. First off, I'd like to mention that not once did I access the internet with this phone. All I do is text, and make calls. That's it! And yet, this phone couldn't even do that. Instead, it decided when it liked to automatically open my text messages, which a lot of the time was in the middle of me writing one, so it would so kindly delete everything I would be doing. Then, half the time it just wouldn't send the message. Oh, and the absolute just greatest thing about it? If I pressed keys too fast, the phone would restart itself. Then, the touch screen stopped working. I figured, dang, must have had one really defunct phone. So i got the same exact phone as a replacement, assuming that it wouldn't be as defunct! WRONG. the second one is WORSE. I decided to set a lock password on this one to keep prying eyes away, but it doesn't lock! I've been through every setting on this phone dozens upon dozens of times, and the only conclusion i come to is that this phone just absolutely stinks. I can't even receive 95% of the multimedia messages people send to me. If someone even sends me a character outside of the alphabet, the phone just freaks out and will restart every time i try to open the message. Worst. Phone. Ever.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Did not meet expectations, nothing. ever. worked.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

OK phone, qwerty keyboard is great. It loads quickly, but the clock on the top of the screen and the clock on the lock screen contradict each other most of the time.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!
