Wonderful, Efficient Product!

I received the Rowenta iron from a review program that I am apart of and must say that I'm really glad I did! At the time, I was actively searching for a new, high quality iron but just hadn't been able to make up my mind regarding which one to get. After trying this one out, however, I am happy to report that it does everything I was looking for it to do -- heats up quickly, isn't heavy to hold, and irons wonderfully (no lines or wrinkles on the finished clothing). Additionally, this Rowenta iron is easy to store and doesn't take up much space at all...another great benefit! Definitely would recommend this to a friend or family member.

LOVE this Iron BUT cannot see the water when filling.

A great Iron, had my last Rowenta for over 20 years and will always buy a Rowenta. Of course, my last one is not made anymore so I decided to purchase the Accessteam DW2170. I really like it but I am having difficulty filling the water to the MAX line because I cannot see the water. This is very disappointing, I have to hold the iron up in the light to fill it and even then I'm not sure until I keep moving it up & down until I FINALLY see the water. Any suggestions???

Disappointing

The iron has all the features I want: shot of steam, lots of steam holes in the sole plate for even distribution of steam, spray, generous water tank. But my disappointment is with the temperature of the settings - they just aren't hot. Anything cooler than "normal cotton" is fairly useless. On the "normal cotton" setting, I can iron a shirt and put my hand on the section that the iron just touched and not get burned. If I don't spray water or use the shot of steam, the wrinkles don't iron out.

Features do matter

The Rowenta AccessTeam iron has features that sent it apart form others I've used in the past. Besides being easy to use, it has to features that 2 features that I love. First, the vertical steam features is great! It's the option I need for when I steam my daughter's dance costumes! I just leave them on the hanger and bring it to the recitals. All the mom's were impressed. Second, it removes any nasty build up that clogs the holes. No more scaling on the iron, or having to purchase special water.

Iron Out The Problems

I usually iron clothes 4-5 days out of the week. i have a Hamilton Beach Steam Iron and this Rowenta Accessteam Iron holds up to the job. It presses my clothes really good, well actually better than my Hamilton Beach one. The extra steam holes comes in handy when ironing and the thumb rest is a nice feature to have. I like that i can also steam the clothes upright unlike my other iron. If i ever need another iron again, I would definitely purchase this one. I recommend this iron to anyone whose looking for a good sturdy iron.

Very easy to use, loved the auto turn off feature and the stainless steel soleplate is the sleekest feature for sure! The water tank is perfect size!

Sleek, Smooth, and Durable Iron Works Wonderfully

I have really loved using the Rowenta Accessteam iron, as it's a functional, beautifully designed, heavy duty that works perfectly on all types of garments I've tried, from extremely delicate silk to heavyweight denim. Though the temperature control dial was a little bit simple for my tastes, I never had any issues with the amount of heat for any and all fabrics, so it's spot on with heat distribution. The stainless steel soleplate is the sleekest feature of the iron, and it stays smooth and clean throughout use on everything. Just the plate alone puts the Rowenta at the top of the list of any other iron I've owned; no film or residue or marks or burns. The steam and spray functions (easy to press, ergonomic plastic pumps) work very well, and all parts of the product feel very sturdy and durable throughout consistent use. A red light indicates when the iron is heating up, and subsequently when it's ready for use. The auto-off feature is great, because it gives ample time (when on its heel - 8 minutes) before turning off, so there's no worry of it cooling down unnecessarily.

My old one didn't have the retractable cord, and storing it was a pain. This model was the only one in the store with a retractable cord, so I got it. It's a powerful iron. Works very well. I just have to say that ever since I received my Rowenta iron in the mail I can't stop ironing. I literally try to find things to iron and what's so funny is I hate ironing! The main reason why did it just seem like you would iron for a long time. I've heard about Rowenta and liked how this model has the retractable cord as well as the 300 steam holes and stainless steel plate. I tried it on a couple of cotton shirts when it arrived and the shirts looked liked they were professionally done at cleaners. I had a couple of hanger marks on the shoulder of one shirt and the iron took them out instantly. It looked like they were never there. The steam works pretty regularly and the sprayer gives an even spray, not a spurt like other irons I have used. The iron is sturdy in my hand, but not too heavy.
