Their Best TV So Far

The new range of Sony televisions display their best picture yet. This TV is the high end model in the range and it doesn't disappont, the clarity and display of colours is one of the best this year and it is definitely worth buying.

Simply excellent

I purchased this TV after extensively researching everything in the 55 inch category, and while possibly the most expensive the Sony simply stands above the rest.
Easy to set up, brilliant picture and great sound. The 3D effect is tremendous.
The only thing that is disappointing is the measly one year warranty. This is not exactly saying that they have great confidence in their product!

Best tv ever

Such a great product. Right out of the box the picture was amazing. Picks up all the channels, had a Samsung tv from two years ago and couldn't pick up some of the channels properly. Unbelievable colour, contrast and saturation even on tv and even more surreal when watching blu-ray. One of the best tv's ever; Sony has really gone all out on this tv. And finally the fantastic display only tv be enhanced by the Corning gorilla glass. Well done Sony.

Great TV

I'm a Sony fan and everything at home is Sony. Last weekend i bought the HX850 after research on the net and reading multiple reviews and few youtube.
It's easy to install and setup, the wizard will make everything very simple.
Picture quality & TV design is great.
I also downloaded the Remote App for this TV so i can control it over my phone and tablet, it's very great tool where i can have a keyboard and mouse for my TV.
Pros: Ease of Use, Quality, Value for Money, Design, Features
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

best picture quality!

This tv is brilliant, it far surpasses any expectations I had for it. The picture quality is mind blowing, the tv is super easy to set up including setting up internet tv connecting to my wireless modem. The menu functions/settings are really easy to navigate through which makes using the television a joy to use and watch. We're big tv people we upgrade our televisions frequently, this is by far the best tv we've ever had, honestly couldn't be happier.

Poor Qualtiy

I am extremely disappointed in the quality of this TV. It feels like it was put together in someone’s shed! Firstly if you look closely there is a line that appears on the side of the screen (across the bottom and left side of the screen). I went back to where I purchased it from and notice the same on the display panel. Absolute rubbish considering Sony promote "Best Picture Quality". And Just recently the glass panel seems to be peeling from the corner! Lucky I was able to return the product with ease as I was told by the sales guy it's very common for Sony TV's. Anyway I do not recommend this product at all.
Pros: Value for Money, Design
Cons: Quality, Durability
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
