works great, but had to come back to this web page to find out how to turn the auto dimming on. Maybe include these little tips in the instructions?

Just bought this and the fan (X2) followed all instructions! Couldn’t get the lights to dim! Read the previous review and the response! Too bad that little tid-bit (turning on the dimmer program) wasn’t in the instruction booklet. The fan and remote (very light) are excellent in looks and functionality!! I’m glad I came to this website! The only issue I had was getting the remote into the casing and holding it (the casing) in place whilst trying to get the screws in place takes a bit of “coordination”! I figure after the next one I’ll hire myself out as an expert installer! lol

Works well, but won’t dim my LED light bulbs.

Bought this wireless controller to be able to dim my living room fan lights. I’m using LED filament lights because of the light fixture socket size. This controller will not dim my lights. Otherwise, it was a simple and straightforward install. It controls the fan nicely and turns the lights on and off. Another feature or option I’d prefer is if the controller let you decide the default switch state. For example, whenever you use the wall switch, nothing happens. You have to use the remote to turn on the lights. I’d prefer, whenever I use the wall switch, that the lights would turn on and then I can decide whether I want to use the remote to control the lights/fan beyond that.

Hello Jeffrey G, if your fan has the dimming feature you will just need to turn it on! You will turn the feature on by holding the fan off button and quick press the light button twice! (: Thank you.

Albeit this product wasn’t rated/compatible with my original Hunter fan (nothing is according to Hunter). I was told my fan is obsolete, I’d need to buy a new fan. My fan is PERFECTLY FINE it’s the remote that went bad. Replaced remote and it’s working just fine. Thankfully I’m the daughter of an A/P Electrical Engineer and not a gullible woman. Honestly I’m unsure if what I was facing was sexism or Hunter’s inability to support their own produc
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
