Scanner software is clunky and hard to use

Scanner hardware is pretty good. But, as usual, the software provided to scan is clunky and hard to use. Really difficult to figure out how to scan multiple pages at once (actually, I haven't yet figured out how to do it). I'm just assuming you can scan multiple pages and output into a single PDF file.
Otherwise it's okay. I just don't understand why nobody seems to be able to write scanner software that is actually easy to use. It's been a thing for 20 years.
I would recommend this to a friend!
