Overall satisfied. Ice maker-water dispenser is not well designed. interior is not best quality of materials. concern that plastic will break.

The refrigerator is terrific. Lot's of room, everything well laid out. Very quiet, which was important to us. There isn't anything we don't like about it.

I searched for 2 years to find a refrigerator with an ice & water dispenser that would fit in a smaller area. I finally found this & it had much better ratings than the others I had researched. I wasn't big on the side by side, I thought it would have less room inside, but it doesn't. It's spacious inside with plenty of room for everything I need +. I love the Quality of this refrigerator. Only drawback is the ice dispenser spits ice all over. I found I can easily deal with it by using a small pitcher for ice & pouring it into my glass. It's looks great & is very well made. Thank You LG!

Big Disappointment

The refrigerator door does not close reliably. Sometimes it leaves about a one inch gap. It looks like it is closed but it is not. You need to forcibly close it and check the seal every time. The freezer side door works OK.
The drop chute for the ice maker ice is too narrow. Mine gives me frequent blockages when the ice chute becomes blocked. When the blockage is cleared the built up ice ends up on the floor.
The icons for the electronic controls are not lighted nor backlit and subsequently are very difficult or impossible to see. Must have been designed by an engineer with failing eyesight.
Big money for a not so good refrigerator. It looks good on the showroom floor but does not perform as well as it looks. I don't think I would buy another LG refrigerator based on my experience with this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Happily surprised to see how easy set-up was. Has the features we wanted. Much more internal space than the previous refrigerator in the same location.
We've had it for about 2 months, and seems to use less energy. Works Great!

Size and quality are the reason for purchase

We had recently purchased another brand and was not satisfied with the quality and customer service. From day one had to call service about the unit and never was fixed correctly. Spoke to the company we purchased from and they took back the original purchase and we got the LG. A great decision on our part. More features, better quality, and have had 3 months we no calls to customer service.

Good Refrigerator but,

This refrigerator is good but has a few issues I think should be change or made better.
1) the ice maker doesn't make ice very fast, my old refrigerator made a full ben of ice in a 24 hour period. this refrigerator takes 4 days to make a full ben of ice. I use ice a lot, so now I have to get use to using less ice other wise I run out. (I have to keep a bag of ice on hand for back up#.
2# the temperatures / water and ice controls are on front of the refrigerator door just above the water dispenser, #most controls on other units are inside the refrigerator and freezer) both the freezer and refrigerator light controls comes on when you hit the control button for water/ ice. It is so easy when hitting the water or ice control button to easily hit the temperature control buttons which is to the right and to the left of the water / ice control, making changes to the coldness of your refrigerator compartments. many a time someone has hit the temp control buttons changing the temperature setting for my refrigerator when they are trying to just get water or ice. the maker of LG should have made it where we can lock the temperature setting so that they can't not be change.
You can lock the whole thing but then you can't get water or ice and have to unlock it each which makes for a pain in the butt.
If I knew I HAD TO HAVE A BAG OF ICE AS BACK-UP because it takes 4 days to make a full ben of ice and that the temperature can be change by accident when getting ice or water, I would have not gotten this REFRIGERATOR. #I DON'T LIKE HAVEING TO EXPLANE TO EVERYONE WHO GET WATER OR ICE ON HOW TO DO SO WITHOUT CHANGING THE TEMPERTURE OF MY REFRIGERATOR.
