After many years our old dryer needed to be replaced because it was taking a long time to dry the clothes. I expected a new dryer to be efficient and to get the job done. Unfortunately, the new dryer has too many energy saving tricks programmed into the drying cycle and the clothes are still wet after running the cycle. So, I run it again, and sometimes it takes three times. I have tried all sorts of settings, but it doesn't seem to matter. Not pleased.
The drum in large; you can control how dry you want the clothes -- so you can save energy -- and if you have clothes you want to iron, you might want them a little damp. The control panel is simple the markings dark blue/black on white background -- easy to read. The third control allows you to control how high a heat you want -- very helpful depending on what fabrics are drying. The lint catcher is on top, easy to empty.
This model has a special control for the start and end of cycle signals so you can turn the signal off -- although I don't know when I would use that feature.
The only thing I would recommend is that the dials are all white -- there is a narrow thin edge on one side of the dial that designates which side of the dial is the indicator for what options you want to choose. Because they are all white it is not easy to distinguish the indicator side -- so I painted those edges black with a acrylic paint and a paint brush so they are easy to locate.
