Came with the house, wish it didn't

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] "Brand new" when we bought the house. Two service calls within 4 months. Very loud, doesn't fully clean unless you select heavy wash. Takes close to 2 hours to finish cleaning and "drying" which it does poorly. Really disappointing. They sent me the warranty renewal and I Laughed thinking I'd rather this thing break down so I can get another dishwasher. Ge may have improved their dishwashers, however this model is a loser.

Poor performance

I have been very disappointed with this dishwasher. We have had it just under 3yrs and it has completely fallen apart. The racks are crumbling, the dispenser is not working properly. I read through the instructions but it still doesn't do a very good job. I worked well for about 6months then started having probables. Don't sure what we will do now, probably will continue to was by hand until we can afford a good dishwasher. :/

Gets the Job Done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am old fashioned and still "enjoy" washing dishes by hand but when the job gets to big I love the fact that I can just dump a load in the washer and let it rip. Has a capacity to hold a lot of dishes and safely wash dishes, pots and pans at the same time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does not clean well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was installed by the builder in the home we purchased. I am very disappointed with the results. There is a residue in the dishwasher and on my dishes after almost every cycle. Yes, I use the recommended detergent and rinse aid. I won't replace it with another GE.

Worst dishwasher I've ever owned -- came as part of an already-equipped condo. We have to pre-wash our dishes in order for them to be cleaned; the dishwasher leaves hardened food deposits on the dishes if not pre-washed.

Very disappointed.....my neighbors and I live in a new development. We all have the same issues....the dishwasher no matter what detergent you use liquid..tablet...powder and jet dry...never ever cleans well...residue left on glasses and plates...if jet dry isn't used they stay wet even with heat setting. Mine is 6 yrs old and I will replace it! Also the inside is very small...don't waste your money.

Second rate piece of equipment!

This is my fifth home (downsized), and have been very unhappy with this dishwasher. You have to first hand wash the dishes otherwise they're not clean. We're very disappointed but as with others it was part of a package that came with the house in a new development.
