Love our new GE dishwasher. ONLY improvement would be to replace the plastic dish rack with something stronger as the heavy plates fall over.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new dishwasher. Owning one that was so noisy that you had to turn the TV up to listen, and buying one that you have to listen for to make sure it is even on is so very nice! Dishes come out clean! Love, love, love my dishwasher!

Must have gotten a lemon

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a lifelong, dedicated GE consumer. This is my first bad experience with a GE appliance. I purchased this unit after researching it, and finding it to be a comparative value for its features. The positives: It looks great, and the "hidden" controls give it a sleek, clean look. And, its super quiet. If your primary concern is a dishwasher that you can still have a conversation in the kitchen while the cycle runs, this is it. The negative: It doesn't get your dishes clean. And, isn't that what you really want from a dishwasher??? Yes, I've tried all the things they recommend, like changing dish detergents, etc. I even upped the temp on my hot water heater. The results are the same. Food stuck on plates, spotty glasses and dirty silverware. Really a disappointment to this dedicated GE consumer....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
