Love the double oven

Should have spent the money on a dual fuel range, but then I could not have the double oven. We use the upper oven most of the time, as there only two of us left, so that is a nice feature.

Love the Double Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It might be hard to judge overall performance - I was replacing a 10 yr old range... However - I LOVE the top oven. We've had the range for 4 months now - and to this day we have not needed to use the big oven (cooking for 2 people). The top oven is the perfect size for any casserole dish, preheats quickly and saves electricity. Only compliant is to save on space - they made the rack rest on top of the door when it is pulled out all the way. Light dishes it's not a big deal to just reach in and grab it, but the times you want to pull the rack out to get at a heavy meal - it's a bit of an annoyance. Check it out in store to get a feel - it's really my only complaint I love all other features.
Bottom oven will have no problem fitting my 20lb turkey come November. Since there is no warming drawer, you have to bend down a bit lower to reach into the oven - but that's the trade off for having a top oven. If you're doing Thankgiving Turkeys every week - then reconsider - if not - no biggie at all!!
Range - Boils a pot of tea in 7 minutes (compared to the 25min it took my old range), has multiple options for cooking with different size pots - and is very sleek. As with all glass cook tops it gets dirty easily - so keep cleaner near by if you're a neat freak.

Great range!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this GE range for 3 months. We were looking for a double oven model, and this was the only one that wasn't flush in the back. The recessed back allows you to push the range as close to the wall as you need and the cord and 220 electric plug fit in the recessed back and are hidden. We love the smaller oven for small meals and pizza as it heats up very quickly. The cook top is our first and we were a little worried about spills and heating. It heats fine and cleans up easily with the provided cerama bryte cleaner. We canned strawberry preserves with no difficulties. Excellent range, we are very pleased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My experience has been great with this stove. The ovens heat quickly and bake evenly. We are empty nesters now and my husband loves the upper oven for quick pizzas and chicken strips. Says the pizza is the best he's had at home!
Love the cooktop -- my 35 year old Revere pots and pans work great -- heat evenly. The top cleans easily and this apppliance addition completes our kitchen remodel and quickly added a modern flair to that side of the room - no more open coils!
I will be back to GE when the refrigerator gets to the end of its life - we're at ten years and counting . . .

Great glass top, Ovens are close to temp, ready buzzers aren't accurate

I have had many ranges over my years and have seen a problem in all the new ones. Just hope someone can help with this one. The cooktop of this range is fantastic. Every burner heats correctly and they all boil water in 7 minutes or less. Ovens - Initial temp not right so adjusted per manual. Then after adjusting oven temps in both ovens, they work pretty close to temp but fluctuate 5-10 deg above and below set temp. Problem - The "ready" signal used to tell you that the oven is ready beeps way before oven reaches set temperature which is very disheartening. Can't tell if oven is up to set temp or not. I love GE products but this feature has to be corrected. In this day and age, the ready signal should sound when oven reaches the set temp not before.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very versatile

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am enjoying my new range. All the different sizes of burners is very helpful. Having 2 ovens has been a dream of mine for a long time and now I have it. The small size of the top oven is perfect, and the bottom is still large enough for big foods. My only complaint would be the "melt" feature takes a very long time to reach the temp to actually melt anything. Overall I am very happy with my new range.
