This product has great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just had my new stove delivered today and I love the appearance. The features are easy to understand. First meal cooked the coil kept a proper temperature. As time goes by I am sure it will be a great appliance.

I love the coil burner tops

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this type of appliance with my recent purchase of a new home. I wanted the coil top feature and I was happy the GE offered it at a reasonable price. I have not used it yet; however I love the appearance of it in my kitchen.

We got this one due to its price & features. It is a very nice stove, love that it is self-cleaning. The drawer on the bottom is excellent. Overall, very good range!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just had this delivered today. Cooked our meal in less time then our old range. The time in which to boil the water was minutes as opposed to a half an hour that it use to take. Will be recommending it to whomever needs a new stove.

Functionable, not anything special

Bought this model in 2011. First major disappointment was discovering that the timer's buzzer was so low, that you can barely hear it standing next to it. My old GE was loud enough I could hear it outside while in the garden or at the barn 75 ft away (windows open in summer)! I was furious. I went out and bought a display timer so I could hear when something was done and not over cook it. That's pretty sad that the manufacturer of the range can't even make a timer loud enough for someone to hear it, but you can buy a $8 or $9 egg timer to its job. Geesh. My model has the window in the door, which I assume is a sealed unit, but low and behold, it has leaked something from the stove top that may have spilled over and now I'll probably have to take the whole thing apart to clean the inside of the window panes. Self cleaning oven does a good job, but because of its design, it can't cook all the way to the edges of the door, so you still have to use a oven cleaner for the edges where the door closes on it. Personally, I do not like the push button controls. I don't even use the Hi/Low option for broiling. I use the Hi only, and if I need less broiling, I move the pan on a lower shelf. Like I said, it's functionable, but nothing special.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
