Very nice iron

Works well. I like that there are a lot of steam. Gets up to temp quickly. Does use a lot of water, but also produces a good amount of steam.

Nice iron. I am probably one of the few women that still iron, and I found this iron to be easy and light. The steam works great and I am very happy I bought this brand.

I love my Rowenta iron. I have always wanted a Rowenta, so when my last iron bit the dust, I purchased one. I love everything about my iron, except design of it does not allow me to see how much water is in the little tank. The plastic is colored too dark to see the water. Also, the steam doesn't last very long and turning the iron off to refill with water, is time consumming, considering the no. of times I have to turn it off, let heat back up, etc.

I have heard that Rowenta is the best iron so I decided to try it. I am not impressed. I DO NOT like the "auto" off feature -- in that the red light STAYS on. I like the idea that the iron turns off after 8 minutes but the red light stays on! This makes me THINK that the iron is still "on." I then unplug the iron--which is annoying. I also do not like the narrow placement of the water spout--it is awkward for me to fill the water up. I ALWAYS spill water. I also do not like the "swooshing" noise it makes while ironing. When you turn the "steam" off, then the iron is NOT as hot. I probably should just take it back to the store--but I need an iron and it will do the job for now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
