The BACtrack that I purchased is really good for checking BAC to give you an indication of your status if you drink during a meal or after an evening of social acctivity. I had the key chain device before purchasing the BACtrack Trace Pro. I had to get use to the 5 seconds of breathing into the new device that has very little breathing resistance compared with the smaller unit. I still get 2 or 3 "low flow" messages before I can get a reading.
I BOUGHT THIS BREATHALYZER BECAUSE MY OTHER ONE WENT BELLY UP THIS UNIT IS GREAT EXCEPT FOR ONE DRAW BACK IT DOESN'T REGULATE YOUR BREATH SO YOU HAVE TO FIGURE WHAT WORKS AT FIRST I BLEW HARD AND IT THEW ME INTO A ASTHMATIC EPISODE BECAUSE IT DOESN'T SLOW DOWN FLOW IT'S WIDE OPEN FLOW BUT IF YOU DON'T HAVE ASTHMA NO PROBLEM I HAD THE S80 IT REGULATED FLOW I WISH I BOUGHT THAT ONE AGAIN
This is a great product, solidly built. Works better than the Bluetooth connected version. Seems to correlate well with how I feel. Good to know BAC levels
I bought several BacTracks for our personal use and as Christmas gifts. My husband and I have been using it to gauge how accurate it is. This device is amazing! It accurately reflects the amount of alcohol we consume. As all the holiday parties and celebrations begin, we'll be able to keep track of how much we've had to drink - and to decide who gets to drive home - one of us - or Uber!
I bought this product a little while ago, I needed a safety net since I have an intoxalock in my car. So far it has been accurate and on point with the testing. I played around with it for the first couple of days to verify it worked and so far it has met my expectations.
BACTrack breathalyzers offer results that are consistent with much more expensive devices. One review stated that the breath time before completion was too long. On the contrary, this is required for full evacuation on the bottom lung where true readings are hidden. If you want the most accurate results, a deep breath is taken, blow forcefully, even to your full extent, as the breathalyzer will not quit until it receives enough data (air lung breath) to analyze.
