A must get! This device is definitely an eye opener, and I no longer go out for drinks without it! I've know quite a few people who have had DUIs in the past year or so, and each of them have said that they felt totally fine when deciding to drive home. Those friends have since bought breathalyzers, and in trying them out, I found that I was also blowing over a 0.08 when I felt "fine." (Yikes!) The wisest decision for me was to buy a breathalyzer of my own. In trying out a few different kinds, the BACtrack Trace seemed to provide the most consistent readings and is very easy to use. (Be sure to wait at least 10 minutes after your last drink prior to using the device, however.) This particular device also comes with a case and mouthpieces. It's easy to fit into a purse, clutch, or pocket. No smartphone is required, which makes it easy to use in any scenario. I'd highly recommend buying the BACtrack Trace! I can't believe I didn't get one of them sooner!
I use it to monitor my daughters use of my vehicle. When she comes home from wherever she blows into BACtrack. If alcohol is detected, she looses privileges of driving my vehicles for a extended period of time. A great deterent, I have a O tolerance of any alcohol use in my vehicle.
Did a online study and decided this companies product ticked all my required boxes.Check out all the products on the market and like me you will be happy with this product
I have the S80 Pro model. I have compared it to the one I use in a professional capacity and it holds its own. This thing is accurate. Mind you, the one I use in a professional capacity holds up in court so I would say that this one's accuracy is rather dependable. You should get it calibrated yearly as recommended to maintain its accuracy. The process is quick and easy and these guys stand by the quality of their products.
I saw this on the news and felt it would be good to have on occasion. It was easy to set up and I feel it will be a valuable tool. It might seem like a breeze to blow into the breathalizer for 5 seconds, but at my age I had to really concentrate to exhale for the right amount of time or I got an error message.
