Excellent appliance, I bought it 3 months ago and my wife and I are very satisfied..., it is very quite and love the fan..., we looked @ other brands but we settled for Frigidaire, great reviews than other brands.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Melts foil, but cooks fast.

I did not notice the "Do Not Use Foil" sign on the door of my oven. I covered the bottom of the oven with foil to catch any drips from above as I used to do with my non-convection oven. Needless to say, the foil melted into the metal at the bottom of the oven. Totally my fault.
A feature about my new convection oven I do not like is the hot air it blows into the kitchen with food smells.
I do like its ability to cook in faster than non-convection ovens.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello marksalot, I am terribly sorry to hear about the bottom of your oven. I understand you placed aluminum foil on the bottom of your oven and it has melted. Your oven has what is called a hidden bake element, which is what is beneath the bottom panel and this is why the foil has melted. Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My other stove had issues and needed to get another one. I had requirements for the replacement. Self cleaning and the ability to have meals ready when I got home. Set the stove up in the A.M. And not worry. It also needed to va a slide in with no back as it fit flush to the counter top. Everything I needed was on this stove and I love it.

Great Oven

We recently bought a new house, and this oven was installed by the builder. I'm not sure I would have purchased this on my own, but I have been very pleasantly surprised. I do a lot of baking, and in the past have always used a convection oven. This oven heats true to the temperature gauge and the heat is evenly distributed throughout the oven. My baked goods come out perfectly. I couldn't be more pleased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed a new wall-insert oven that was larger than the one we had. This one fit the bill. So far, everything that I have cooked in it has come out beautifully. I had knobs on my old one and I like the flat push button controls of this one.
