Bad model

I had a ge profile microwave for over 15 years and never had a problem. Updated to Stainless Ge profile just 2 years ago and now we can't even use it now because the keypad comes up with a shortage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall, a good product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to use, very intuitive keyboard and will set up in all ventilation possibilities. The fit and finish is nice, but the opening door handle quality is below average with a not entirely smooth feel to the hand. The dark interior takes some getting used to after seeing nothing but stark white insides of microwaves my entire life. Heating is powerful and noise level is not excessive while in operation. Fan exhaust is nice, spread out to 2 uptakes over the range.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is one fast cooking microwave!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave works fast and efficiently. It cooks at a higher wattage than my last microwave so it cooks much faster. I had to be careful not to burn anything until I got used to it. It has lots of great features and looks so nice with the matching profile stove. I also like the energy efficient power save button that lets you turn the power off when not in use. This is one powerful and great microwave.

Great Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently our family had a newborn, my wife uses our microwave to sterilize the baby bottles. We switched out microwaves to the GE Profile Spacemaker and love it. This one is far better than the one that we had before. Very fast, quiet and easy to clean. We use this microwave all the time since and can tell a big difference since we switched. I really like this new microwave, can't think of any downside with it. One of the best and most used part of our kitchen.

Like the extra rack

So far this microwave works well. I like the extra rack - especially for storing my microwave bowl cover!
The only thing that surprised me was that the light under the microwave that illuminates the stove burners is dimmer than I prefer.
