I am very pleased with my PE525. The auto-threader makes changing threads a breeze. It embroiders beautifully! The 4X4 inch size works for me, as I am a quilter, and I use 6.5 to 8.5 size blocks, mostly, in my quilting. I've made some Redwork, Bluework, and Greenwork wallhangings that have turned out very well. I've had no problems downloading patterns from the Internet. My only complaint is that it is sometimes hard to clear the memory of the patterns transferred from patterns downloaded and saved to my computer to the PE525 (holds up to 12), even though I delete them each time after embroidering a pattern. When this happens, only the last pattern, rather than the current desired displayed pattern is available. I work around this by never working with more than 6-8 patterns on any given day

I love the machine I just wish that it had the ability to get larger hoops. I also wish the software was not so pricey. But it's a great machine for smaller projects.

Very pleased with the machine mechanically and the quality of the work. Much to learn but has been easy. Excited to try a pattern from a download. Both my Brothers sewing machines are wonderful!!!

This is my first embroidery machine and I would not have purchased any other one! I read the directions, glanced at a few videos and then followed the step by step directions that are directly on the machine. My first embroidery project was my name. My second project was a heart and my initials on an apron I made. My grandson also embroidered something. My thread jammed (wrong stabilizer) and I quickly fixed it! I love it!

This is my first embroidery machine and I love it! Downloading from the computer is easy. Patterns I digitize myself are no problem. Clear instructions and specifications. The negative reviews listed on this page refer to user error, not machine error. I do wish I could use a flash drive with it, but that's the only drawback I have found.
