Beware of Filter price!

I am very happy with the Stadler Oskar humidifier -- it runs very quietly, easy to maintain and very attractive modernistic design. Unfortunately when I purchased the Stadler humidifier, I was not aware of the cost of the filters for this unit.
$79.99 for a pack of 4 filters that last less than 6 months. It is an obscene price!
Would I recommend this to a friend?
Yes I would but with a warning regarding the cost of the required high priced filters.

One of the fans broke on Oskar big and I ordered a fan motor from Stadler Form. It came without instructions and you definitely need instructions for this repair. They have been telling me for over a month that a technician will call and help me with this repair, but no one has been in contact with me yet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
