Had 600GB Velociraptor THIS PRODUCT BLOWS IT AWAY

As the title says, I've gone from a HDD to a SDD. I was sure that my old product at 10,000rpms was elite. OK, I was totally wrong. The speed difference is amazing, there really is no comparison. The Samsung 850 Pro @ 512GB is as awesome as the reviews state (see CNET review). I am playing a couple of games, Divinity Original Sin and Dragon Age Inquisition, and the load times and play are like having a new high end gaming computer! If you are going to make any upgrade to your computer, start here! You will not be sorry you paid a little extra for this product!
Pros: Durable, Lightweight, crazy super fast!

First SSD

I ended up putting this in a 4 year old refurb computer after that hard drive died. Had a lot of trouble with the migration software, but after I gave up on that everything went smoothly. Amazing what the difference is. I will not have another computer with a SSD as the primary boot drive.
Pros: fast
Cons: migration software

This SSD adds to the performance of my device and it operates at very high speeds!! It is easy to format for first time use, straight out of the box. I couldn't be any happier of a college student/owner of this drive. I am glad that I made this purchase! If you are looking for something that will operate better, faster, quieter, and much more, this is the drive for you. It is worth the money.

Product worked as designed. cloning of system drive went flawlessly.
Considering what I paid for it, this was the biggest and cheapest performance upgrade.

Incredibly Fast | Brilliant Form Factor

I'm using this for hi-end animation, visual effects, and 3D. I've copied large files, multiple GB, from one drive to this drive within seconds.
I use it as a cache disk for After Effects, and it's faster than anything I've used.
I have an e-sata to usb3 cable, and the drive looks really nice on my desk.

I upgraded my MacBook Pro by replacing the 5200 RPM hard drive with the Samsung SSD 850 PRO 2.5" SATA III 1TB. Huge performance boost!! I recommend this SSD to those running any computer without solid state storage.
Pros: ultimate performance, easy to install

good SSD with security features. maybe too secure, ended bricking a different samsung pro SSD when tried to secure erase.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: cost still a little high

This is the best SSD in my opinion, but you will pay for it. the evo series is a better deal almost as fast but only a 3 year warranty compared to the 10 year with this one. I just wanted the fastest and the 10 year warranty.
Pros: fast great warranty
Cons: to expensive
