No osX Magician Software

Great product, but no compatible software for the MAC operating system. Big hole for all the MAC users out there that would like a simple way to monitor the SSD and update the firmware. Migration and Magician software only work on Windows operating systems.
Cons: disk software only works on windows systems
I would recommend this to a friend!

This product is on its way back. Did not work. Magician did not recognize it I really wonder if it was the real product. Cover was loose. Cover was plain. NO logo No serial number or part number. VERY diappointed
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality

Partition Lost

Just received my new 850Pro. Created a partition on the drive. Rebooted and the partition vanished. Well the specs are great so may RMA this one for another.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Did not meet expectations

Bad software (Magian 4.4)

Every time I trie to use the supporting software and change the OS performance from normal HDD specs towards one of the 3 SDD choices the system stops working!
Only a system restore will fix the problem. My system is brand new with Windos 8.1, an Z97m-plus motherboard and a I7-4960K processor.

SSD is best option for Laptop

I would recommend to must have SSD in laptop as its totally different experience. This Samsung pro is good but I couldn't notice any difference from Evo which is less expensive than this and based on my experience I would reccomend to get Evo not Pro
Pros: Realistic color, Lightweight, afordable
Cons: Did not meet expectations, same as evo

Don't get what you pay for

The first thing that I noted when i hook up was that only had 476GB of 512 GB. One reason I purchase this was for the larger amount of GB. I understand that they need some for the OS but almost 40 GB come on now. I have not finish installing at this time. But guess it will work just as good as the other Samsung SSD.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, not as big as listed

Fantastic SSD

Installed this in place of the slow 5400rpm hdd in HP laptop. Not use the migration cloning software, so I can't comment on that. I did a clean install and was a breeze, did take long time.
The Samsung Magician software is ok, just not able to use RAPID Mode due to preventing laptop from not able to see flash drives on it. So I turn it off, then able to use flash drives. Other than a few bad items, it is a way very good ssd.
