Very First SSD Ever

As stated this is my very first SSD in my life. When I was researching products I wanted to go with the best and this is where I came to. Samsung Pro 1TB SSD. This thing zips through programs/games like the rest of the world is standing still. No going back but always moving forward with an Epic product by a Legendary company.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight

I was trying to shop around a hard drive replacement for my old Samsung 256 SSD (MZ7TD256HAFV which was starting to fail) in my macbook pro (15-inch mid 2010, 8gb memory, model identifier ver 6,2). My decision to get this SSD was based on high reviews/scores and a website comparing different SSD models. The reports indicate that this is a very good product (from a read-write speed as well as price & overall-vaue standpoint). I purchased the product and had no complaints. Would definitely recommend this product to others. =)

Samsung 850 Pro MZ-7KE512 512GB

I just installed this SSD on a Toshiba Satellite S55-A5389 replacing the standard 500GB SATA 5400 RPM drive. It's like a different computer. Fast, fast, fast. This is the way computing should be.
Only complaint is it came out of the box with software that did not cover Windows 10 but did not automatically check for an update. This was confusing for a short while as the packaging did not indicate what it covered. After checking the Samsung web site I found the Win 10 version. Other that that it was a snap to clone and migrate. My laptop now flies like I've never seen it before. It's fun again!

Just purchased my Samsung 850 Pro 512GB and install was as it should be. Will finally have the storage needed for more than one game and other needed storage. I think I'm going to be Happy, Happy, Happy!!!

This SSD 850 PRO is a future portal.

The SSD was shipped with good protection and came with Software that allowed benchmark of performance and the migration of data from a standard HDD. It did not come with screws to secure the drive into a tray, however that was simple to obtain. My case was designed for the install of SSD units.
The drive easily " quick formatted" utilizing Windows 10, NTFS. OS recognized drive and Software quickly transferred data from old drive. Initial benchmark revealed 406/350 sequential read& write. Registry change from IDE to AHCI allowed benchmark to be 548 &471 and the Software performance selections allowed and performed Drive tweeks where desired. Outstanding warranty and reviews.
Will be buying another.
